The National Secretariat of the National Union of Bonny Students (NUBS) extends its heartfelt sympathy to all our students and their families who have been affected by the recent flood situation. We understand the difficulties, losses, and disruptions this unfortunate incident has caused, and our thoughts are with everyone impacted during this challenging period.

Every possible effort is being made to help ease the current hardship and support the restoration of normalcy within our communities.

We encourage all affected students to remain calm, prioritize their safety, and cooperate with the relevant authorities as relief and intervention measures are being coordinated.

📚SECONDARY SCHOOL SENSITIZATION PROGRAMME 📚

As part of its continued commitment to promoting academic excellence and educational awareness, the National Union of Bonny Students (NUBS) National Secretariat Worldwide successfully carried out a Secondary School Sensitization Programme on the 22nd and 23rd of June, 2026, with the theme: “Fundamentals of Education.”

The sensitization programme was aimed at enlightening students on the importance of education as the bedrock of personal development, leadership, discipline, and societal progress. Through impactful interactions and educational engagement, students were encouraged to remain focused on their studies, uphold good values, and understand the vital role education plays in shaping a brighter future.

The schools visited during the sensitization exercise were:

📍 CSS Abalamabie
📍 Lucille Education Center

This initiative reflects the dedication of the NUBS National Secretariat Worldwide to fostering educational consciousness among Bonny students and empowering the younger generation with the right mindset towards academic success and self-development.
