OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: 2026/2027 POST-UTME SCREENING

We are excited to announce that the Jigawa State College of Nursing Sciences is now open for the 2026/2027 Academic Session admissions. The Post-UTME Screening Exercise is scheduled to take place across our three campuses.

🗓️ Exam Schedule:

· Birnin Kudu: July 25th – 26th, 2026
· Hadejia: July 27th – 28th, 2026
· Babura: July 29th, 2026

💻 Exam Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)

📋 Requirements:
All candidates must present the following at their designated exam centers:

1. Printed Post-UTME Invitation Slip
2. JAMB Slip

📌 Important Notice for Jigawa State Indigenes: If your NIN reflects a different state, you must present your Certificate of Indigenation at the examination point.

NOTICE TO ALL APPLICANTS

Printing of Post-UTME Examination Slips for candidates who applied for admission into the ND/HND Nursing Programme of Jigawa State College of Nursing Sciences, Birnin Kudu, Babura, and Hadejia Campuses will commence today at 2:00 PM.

Applicants are advised to log in to the admission portal and print their examination slips to confirm their examination date, time, and venue.

This is to inform the general public, especially prospective candidates seeking admission into the College's Birnin Kudu, Babura, and Hadejia Campuses, that the Post-UTME data capturing exercise has been extended to 12th July, 2026.

All applicants who have not yet completed their data capturing are advised to take advantage of this extension and complete the process on or before the new deadline.

JICONSS BIRNIN KUDU SPONSORS MEDICAL OUTREACH IN KANGIRE DISTRICT FOR INTERNATIONAL NURSES WEEK 2026

In commemoration of the International Nurses Week 2026, the Jigawa State College of Nursing Sciences, Birnin Kudu Campus, sponsored a impactful medical outreach in Kangire District, Birnin Kudu Local Government Area.

Under the visionary leadership of the Provost, MLM. Garba Adamu, the College remains committed to community service and healthcare excellence.

The outreach provided:

· Free medical assistance
· Free drugs for all, especially for those in need in rural communities

Speaking on the initiative, MLM. Rashida Musa Ya’u, Campus Director of Jigawa College of Nursing Sciences, Birnin Kudu, reaffirmed the institution’s dedication to building a compassionate and skilled workforce that serves humanity beyond the classroom.

OFFICIAL NOTICE: 2026/2027 POST-UTME SCREENING FOR ND/HND NURSING PROGRAMME

This is to inform the general public that the Jigawa State College of Nursing Sciences (Birnin Kudu, Hadejia & Babura Campuses) has commenced the sale of forms for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening for ND/HND Nursing Programme.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum UTME score of 150 in English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
· Candidates must have selected any of our campuses as First Choice in JAMB.
· Minimum age of 16 years.
· At least five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB (maximum of two sittings).
· Only same board combinations (WAEC+WAEC, NECO+NECO, WAEC+NECO, or NABTEB+NABTEB) are accepted.
· Awaiting results are allowed (indicate “AR”), but credits must be provided before final admission.
