The 15th Administration of the Nigerian Economics Association in a bid to encourage economic research and active participation of students in informing and driving data driven policies is putting together a team of students to make up the research arm of the national body.

20 slots for 20 exceptional students

The metrics for vetting and selection includes:

• Passion, commitment and readiness to work

• Knowledge of basic econometric softwares,(Stata, Eviews, SPSS, R, Phyton etc) Multiple is an advantage

• Foundational knowledge of economics, statistics and quantitative research methods

These students would undergo a series of trainings with seasoned professionals to improve themselves and their knowledge of informed policy making.
