UNDER THE SUN AND IN THE RAIN

Within these walls, where knowledge grows,
Command Science girls, in disciplined rows.
Under the sun, with spirits bright,
And even when the rain takes flight.

In uniforms of green so deep,
Their promises they strive to keep.
With focused gaze and posture bold,
Futures of brilliance start to unfold.

They stand as one, a sisterhood strong,
Where learning thrives and spirits throng.
Through lessons taught and friendships made,
A foundation for life is laid.

So hail to them, with hearts so keen,
The proud young scholars, sharp and keen.
Command Science Secondary School,
A guiding light, Shaping futures,
Brave and bright.

Emerging from the heart of Northeastern Nigeria, Kebbi State to be precise, Command Science Secondary School (Gilrs), Goru stands as a beacon of discipline, knowledge, and female empowerment. As part of the Nigerian Army's commitment to providing quality education, our institution offers a unique learning environment that blends a rigorous academic curriculum with military-style discipline and character development.

We are dedicated to producing a new generation of female leaders who are not only academically proficient but also imbued with the values of patriotism, self-reliance, and resilience. Our students are challenged to excel in all aspects of life, from the classroom to the sports field, and are encouraged to participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities designed to foster leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking.

With a focus on a comprehensive education, we prepare our girls to succeed in a rapidly changing world. Our school is more than just a place of learning; it is a nurturing community where young women are groomed to become responsible citizens and future leaders, ready to make a significant impact on their families, communities, and the nation as a whole.
