Earlier today, on behalf of the leadership of BAHAPSSA, I paid a courtesy visit to the Head of Civil Service, Bauchi State Barr. Muhammad Sani Umar Esq, to address pressing concerns affecting our members, particularly the ongoing Staff ID rectification process.

We also had a productive discussion on the bonding agreement and its implications for our members.

The Head of Service made it clear that individuals who haven’t started receiving salary or don’t yet have a PSN are currently excluded from uploading and processing their Staff ID.

Following this, I met with the Staff ID officer who emphasized that members already receiving salary should strictly adhere to upload protocols use a strong internet connection or a cyber café, and ensure their passport photo does not exceed 200KB.

We remain committed to serving our members and ensuring no one is left behind.

Important update

To reflect our broader mandate and growing membership, our association name has officially changed from Bauchi State Allied Health Science Students Association BAHSSA to BAHAPSSA — Bauchi State Allied Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences Students Association of Nigeria.

Following our meeting with the MAHWUN Chairman; part of our newly appointed patron and considering that not all of us here fall strictly under Allied Health, Allied Health science is a broader faculty that comprises Medical laboratory science, Nursing sciences, physiotherapy, Radiography, Optometry, and Nutrition and Dietetics excluding pharmaceutical sciences we have made an important adjustment for better representation and unity.
