On 12th May 2026, the Wife of the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Hajiya Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed, paid an official visit to Al-Irfan Integrated Academy Bauchi, an institution founded by Sheikh Junaidu Abubakar Sadiq Bauchi.

During the visit, she toured the school premises, including the administrative offices, classrooms, library, and students’ dormitory, where she observed the school’s learning environment and facilities.

In her remarks, she expressed deep appreciation for the remarkable vision and dedication of the founder in establishing and developing the institution independently, without relying on support from the government or private benefactors. She commended the academy’s commitment to educational excellence and selfless service to the community.

She also praised the school’s unique educational model, which harmoniously integrates Islamic education with Western and vocational sciences, describing it as a commendable approach toward nurturing morally upright, intellectually sound, and skillful future generations.

The visit reflected her admiration for the institution’s achievements and its contribution to educational development in society.

JOB VACANCY: QUR'AN AND ARABIC TEACHER (INDEGENE OF BAUCHI LOCAL GOVERNMENT)

Al'Irfan Integrated Academy is a growing institution committed to academic excellence, moral discipline, and Islamic values. We are currently seeking a passionate, qualified, and dedicated Qur’an and Arabic Teacher to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

- Teaching Qur’an recitation (Tilawah) with proper Tajweed.
- Supervising Hifz (memorization) and monitoring students’ progress.
- Teaching Arabic language (reading, writing, speaking, grammar).
- Preparing structured lesson plans.
- Conducting assessments and maintaining classroom discipline.
- Promoting Islamic morals and good character among students.

Requirements:

- Qualification in Qur’an, Arabic, Islamic Studies, or related field.
- Sound knowledge of Tajweed and Arabic language.
- Teaching experience is an added advantage.
- Good moral character and strong communication skills.

INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHI RAJI’UN

It is with deep sorrow and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah that the Management of AL'IRFAN INTEGRATED ACADEMY, Bauchi announces the passing of one of our dedicated staff members, Malam Umar Adamu Babangida, who until his demise served as the Head of Department (H.O.D), Qur’anic and Arabic Studies.

Malam Umar returned to his Creator in the evening of Saturday. His death is a great loss to the Academy, the students, and the entire community. He was a committed educator, a mentor, and a man devoted to the service of Islam and humanity.

The Janazah prayer is scheduled to take place today, Sunday, at approximately 2:00 PM (after Zuhr prayer) at Maulana Sheikh Tahir Usman Mosque, located at Central Market, Bauchi.

We pray that Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, expands his grave, grants him Jannatul Firdaus, and gives his family, colleagues, and students the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
