CULTURAL INSIGHT, HISTORICAL TRUTH — DAMVIC ACADEMY EXCURSION 2025

Damvic Academy does not teach history only from books.
We take students to the places where history happened so learning becomes memory, not theory.

This is the model:
Educate the mind, 🧐
Expand the worldview, 🌍
Strengthen the character. 💪
This excursion reshaped understanding.
Badagry turned history into lived experience.

✨Seriki Faremi Williams Abass Slave Museum
Chains, cells, merchant records history no longer abstract.

✨Badagry Heritage Museum
A full timeline of the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
Identity, memory, resilience understood, not recited.

✨First Storey Building in Nigeria
Original Yoruba Bible.
Preserved architecture.
Proof of how education and faith shaped early society.

✨Point of Return
A coastline that forces reflection.
Silence doing the teaching.

✨Whispering Palms Park
Recreation. Laughter. Group bonding after heavy learning.

Damvic Academy invests in exposure, awareness, culture, academics, and character not one, but all.
Identify the picture that captures this best. Drop it in the comments.

FIRST TERM HIGHLIGHTS — ACADEMICS IN ACTION AT DAMVIC ACADEMY

This term was not about routine teaching. It was about pressure, thinking speed, clarity of expression, and intellectual confidence.

Two categories. Real competition. Real winners.

Primary Category (Basic 3–5):
Final round: Basic 3 vs Basic 5

Secondary Category (JSS1–SS3):
Final round: JSS3 vs SS1
Outcome: JSS3 emerged champions
What it demonstrated: logical depth, composure, and persuasive argument under pressure.

These debates were not rehearsed drama. They were live intellectual contests that trained confidence, reasoning, teamwork, and public speaking.

Damvic Academy delivered a decisive performance at the Tomerald Inter-House Sports Competition. Ten primary pupils. Two relay events. Two first-place finishes.
Boys’ 4×4 — 1st.
Girls’ 4×4 — 1st.
Clear dominance after two rounds of racing. Strength, precision, and composure under pressure.

Damvic’s competitive power comes from the same structure that drives its academics: discipline, moral grounding, and deliberate training. The result is a school that produces balanced, confident learners who excel wherever they stand; in classroom or track.

Admissions open.
