Arrival of the New Registrar at JICORAS Babura.
The Management and staff of Jigawa State College of Remedial and Advanced Studies Babura warmly welcomed the newly appointed Registrar, Barrister Garba Yakubu Esq.,
who assumed duty on Monday, 30th March 2026.
The Registrar arrived at the institution accompanied by some of his colleagues from Jigawa State Polytechnic Dutse.

Upon his arrival at the college, he was received by the Deputy Provost, Malam Bashir Ubale, the Deputy Registrar, Muhammad Dodo, the Director of Works, the Director of Academic Planning, and other members of staff of the institution.
During the reception, the management and staff expressed their happiness and warmly welcomed the new Registrar to the college.

They also assured him of their full cooperation and support towards achieving the goals and continued development of the institution.
The arrival of Barrister Garba Yakubu Esq. is expected to further strengthen the administrative activities and contribute positively to the growth of the college.

Today, the Provost of Jigawa State College of Remedial and Advanced Studies (JICORAS), Babura, Dr. Ma'aji I. Abubakar, was honoured with an Award of Excellence by the National Association of Public Health Students (NAPHS), JICORAS Babura Chapter, Class of 2026.

The award recognizes his outstanding leadership, dedication to academic excellence, and strong, positive relationship with students, which have contributed to a peaceful and productive academic environment.

Interested and qualified candidate who have chosen JICORAS as their first choice and have scored 100 points and above in UTME, should visit the JAMB portal to upload their SSCE result, and proceed to the College website at www.jicoras.edu.ng to create profile and attach photocopy of his/her credentials and submit to the Admission Officer.

ELIGIBILITY1.
A Candidate must have obtained minimum of five {5} credits including English and Mathematics, and three in relevant subjects at ‘O’ level {SSCE}

2. Candidates that chosen other institutions can obtain green card from JAMB Office or any nearby JAMB Centre and change to JICORAS.

Candidate are advised to visit their portal to print the admissions letter or they can come to the college Old site to check their names on the admission list posted on the notice board.
