What really is Education?

Education is a process of teaching, training and learning, especially in schools, to improve knowledge and develop skills. It also shapes beliefs and morals.

According to Talcott Parsons, an American Sociologist, the school acts as a bridge between the family and society as a whole, preparing children for their adult role.

From the functionalist perspective, Emile Durkheim, a French Sociologist, says the major function of education is the transmission of society's norms and values as individuals learn to co-operate with people who aren't their kin or friends.

In conclusion, I can say that; education is an important aspect of society that shouldn't be overlooked.

At Absolute Victory Standard School and Educational Services Ltd we offer the best services in education.
