The Traditional Reason: Nighttime is when the physical world cools down and the spiritual world wakes up. Sweeping at night is a symbolic act
of clearing out everything including
the good vibrations and protective ancestral spirits currently resting in your home.

The Remedy: If you absolutely must clean a spill at night, gather it into one corner and pack it up only when the sun rises.

2 Natural Ashes
3 Pure Honey
4 Salt
5 Sugar

HOW TO PREPARE IT:
Make a small hole at the top of the coconut. Gently pour your honey, salt, sugar, and ashes inside. Write both of your full names clearly on a small piece of paper, roll it tightly, and insert it into the coconut using a small stick to push it all the way in. Hold the preparation in your hands and speak your sincere heart's desires, blessings, and intentions for sweetness and unity into it. Once you are done speaking, seal the hole securely with melted candle wax. Take the coconut and bury it safely at a riverbank or any spot where there is a constant, flowing body of water. feel
