This morning the Awka bus departed for Nnewi carrying students who made a decision to be part of history. The Nnewi Tech Meetup was today and our Awka family showed up in full force. From the moment we arrived at the Nnewi campus, the reception was warm and the atmosphere electric.

Our students experienced firsthand what it means to be part of a growing ecosystem. They listened to talks that expanded their thinking, connected with peers from other campuses, and saw with their own eyes that the tech community in the Southeast is real and thriving. Many of them walked away with new mentors, new collaborators, and a renewed sense of purpose.

The journey from Awka to Nnewi is short but the distance it represents in our collective journey is immense. Every kilometer traveled today was a statement that we are serious about building. The Awka Tech Faculty is proud of every student who made the trip.

The next gathering is coming and we want to see even more of you there. If you missed this one, make sure you are on the bus next time. Register your interest and stay connected because we are just getting started.

The Awka Tech Faculty is organizing a bus departure this Saturday at noon from the Awka campus to the Nnewi Tech Meetup. This is the final opportunity to secure your seat as we are finalizing logistics and transportation arrangements. The meetup runs from 10am at the Nnewi campus but our convoy leaves Awka at exactly midday so we arrive together as a delegation. If you have not yet signed up for the bus, do so now because spaces are limited and the response has been strong.

This is what Ndi Igbo community building looks like in practice. We are not waiting for external forces to develop our technology sector. We are pooling our resources, sharing our knowledge, and creating the infrastructure for our own people to thrive. The Awka tech corridor has produced some of the most exciting startups in the region and this Saturday provides an opportunity to connect those dots.

Your presence matters. Every person who shows up adds momentum to a movement that extends far beyond any single meetup. We are building the foundations for a technology ecosystem that will serve Anambra and the wider Igbo community for generations.

Register at www.techfaculty.ng and select the bus transport option when you sign up for the meetup. The bus leaves Saturday at noon from Awka campus.

Growing up in Awka, I watched our people send their children to Onitsha and Lagos for quality technology training. That story ends here. Awka Tech Faculty exists to prove that world class digital education can flourish right in Anambra State.

Today I am proud to announce the Future Ready AI Program, a free weekly artificial intelligence training initiative for SS1 to SS3 students across Anambra schools. We have built this program with Microsoft and Google partners, covering four core modules: Generative AI and Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, Python for AI, and AI Ethics. This is our contribution to raising a generation of Ndi Igbo who will not just consume technology but build it.

The first cohort will begin in June 2026 and we are now accepting expressions of interest from secondary schools across the state. If your school wants to be part of this transformative journey, visit www.techfaculty.ng to register your interest.

Our community has always valued education above everything else. Let us extend that legacy into the age of artificial intelligence. Register your school today.

This past weekend our Awka campus came alive with energy as we hosted the first Anambra Tech Meetup of the quarter. Over two hundred students parents and education partners gathered to witness what the future of learning looks like in the heart of the state capital. The atmosphere was electric filled with questions about our new curriculum and the pathways we are building for young minds across Anambra.

I want to personally welcome every family that came to see our facilities and speak with our instructors. Your belief in what we are building here gives us the fuel to keep pushing boundaries. We are not just teaching technology we are reshaping the narrative of what is possible for Ndi Igbo in the digital age. Our community is growing and with it comes a deeper responsibility to deliver excellence.

One announcement that drew the most attention was the Future Ready AI Program a free weekly artificial intelligence training for SS1 to SS3 students across Anambra schools. This program spans four modules including Generative AI and Prompt Engineering AI Agents Python for AI and AI Ethics. We built this in partnership with Microsoft and Google to ensure our students learn on global standard platforms. Our vision is to produce the next generation of AI builders not just users.

If you are a school principal parent or education official interested in bringing this program to your students visit www.techfaculty.ng or reach our team directly. Let us work together to put Anambra on the map as a hub for young talent in artificial intelligence.

Every Thursday evening I walk through our Awka campus and I feel it. That electricity in the air. Young minds from Okpuno, from Amawbia, from all over Anambra State coming together not to debate politics but to build the future with Python and AI models. Last week's tech meetup was our biggest yet. Over two hundred students packed into our lab space, not because we have the fanciest building but because we have the most determined spirit.

One of our students Chidera built a crop disease detection model in just three weeks. She told me she wanted to solve the problem her grandmother faces every farming season in Nimo. That is what Awka Tech Faculty stands for. Real solutions born from real community pain points. This is the Anambra we are building. Not a state that consumes technology but one that creates it.

We are also preparing to launch our weekend bootcamp series for working professionals in Awka who missed the digital revolution the first time. If you are a graduate in this city who wants to pivot into tech, this is your open door. No previous coding experience required. Just the hunger to learn.

Register now at www.techfaculty.ng and claim your spot before our July cohort fills up.

The energy at our Awka campus this term has been nothing short of extraordinary. Our weekly tech meetups have grown beyond what we imagined with students from across Anambra converging to build, solve and learn together. I have watched young minds engage with complex problems and emerge with solutions that would impress seasoned engineers. This is the Awka spirit, the heart of innovation that Ndi Awka have always been known for.

Today I am proud to announce the Future Ready AI Program, a free weekly AI training initiative designed specifically for SS1 to SS3 students across Anambra State. Built in partnership with Microsoft and Google partners, this program covers four critical modules: Generative AI and Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, Python for AI, and AI Ethics. We are equipping the next generation with tools that will define the future of work and we are starting right here at home.

Every secondary school in Anambra should have access to this opportunity. We are calling on school principals and proprietors to register their students for this transformative program. The world is moving fast and our children must not be left behind. Let us build a future where Ndi Igbo lead in artificial intelligence and technology innovation.

Register your school today at www.techfaculty.ng. Spaces are limited and we are prioritizing Anambra schools for this first cohort.

I have walked through many classrooms across Anambra and I have seen the hunger in our young people. They want more. They want relevance in a world moving faster than our curriculum allows. This is why we launched the Future Ready AI Program at Tech Faculty Awka, a free weekly artificial intelligence training for SS1 to SS3 students across Anambra State. Four modules built with Microsoft and Google partners: Generative AI and Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, Python for AI, and AI Ethics. This is practical skill building for the future of work. www.techfaculty.ng

Our children must not remain consumers of technology. They must become creators. In a world where artificial intelligence reshapes every industry, Ndi Igbo cannot afford to watch from the sidelines. We have always been known for enterprise, for resilience, for showing up and leading. The same spirit that drove our fathers to build markets from nothing must now drive our children to build technology that solves African problems.

We are calling on every secondary school in Anambra to partner with us. Bring your students. Let them learn, build, and compete on the global stage. The program costs nothing because access should never be a barrier to excellence. We believe deeply in the capacity of our young people to rise when given the right tools and mentorship.

Schools interested in enrolling their students should register their interest today. Let us prepare this generation for what is coming.

The spirit of innovation is alive and well in Awka. At our last Tech Meetup, I watched over sixty students and professionals fill the room, each one hungry for knowledge that can reshape our future. This is what drives everything we build at Tech Faculty. We are not just teaching technology. We are cultivating a mindset that says Ndi Igbo can lead the global conversation on innovation.

Our campus in Awka has become a gathering place for minds that refuse to accept mediocrity. From students building their first Python scripts to entrepreneurs prototyping solutions for local challenges, the energy is palpable. Every week, I see young people who could have chosen any path making the deliberate decision to invest in their technical capacity. That choice gives me hope for Anambra and for Nigeria.

If you are in Awka and you have been waiting for a sign to begin your tech journey, this is it. Come visit us at the faculty. Join a community that pushes you to grow. The future belongs to those who build it, and we are building right here.
