MIDTERM EDUCATIONAL CRUISE – 17TH FEBRUARY 2026

On the 17th of February 2026, our students embarked on an exciting and enlightening midterm cruise to Chinua Achebe International Cargo Airport and the historic Ogbunike Caves.

The visit to Chinua Achebe International Cargo Airport provided students with a firsthand experience of aviation operations and cargo management. They learned about airport logistics, safety procedures, and the critical role the airport plays in boosting commerce and economic development in the region. The tour sparked curiosity among the students, especially those interested in careers in aviation, engineering, and business.

The adventure continued at the Ogbunike Caves, a renowned cultural and historical site. Students explored the fascinating network of caves, streams, and lush surroundings while learning about the rich history, traditional significance, and natural formation of the site. The experience offered both physical adventure and cultural education, making history come alive outside the classroom walls.

Indeed, the midterm cruise was a perfect blend of entertainment and education—a day filled with learning, laughter, exploration, and unforgettable memories. It was truly a day to remember.

This is to inform the general public that the Entrance Examination for into St. Mary’s College, Awka for JSS1, JSS2, SS1, and SS2 prospective students will hold as follows:

Date: SATURDAY, 28th MARCH, 2026

Exam Time: 10:00 a.m.

Accreditation: BEGINS AT 8:30 a.m. PROMPT

Venue: SCHOOL PREMISE

SALE OF FORMS:
The sale of entrance examination forms begins on Monday, 26th January, 2026.
Prospective students are to obtain their forms at the school with the sum of ₦3,000 (Three Thousand Naira only) at the Secretary's office in the College.

NOTE:
This examination is strictly for Batch A candidates only.
*Any candidate who fails to attend the examination on the stipulated date will have his/her form nullified.
