Specifically, Proverbs 13:24 says, 'Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who is kind is concerned for them.' (NIV) Some biblical translations say, 'Spare the rod and spoil the child.' This verse suggests that discipline and guidance are essential for a child's development and well-being. We should make child development a priority and work towards bettering the next generation.

If everyone does the right thing, no one will have to cry out in pain, because no one reaps mangoes from planting oranges.
