As of June 11, 2026, here are the most important updates regarding the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB):

· Mop-up UTME: For candidates who missed the main exam due to technical or biometric issues, the portal to print notification slips is open. The exams are scheduled for this Saturday, June 13. Note that this is the final opportunity for the 2026 admission cycle.
· Leadership Transition: Professor Is-haq Oloyede’s tenure concludes on July 31, 2026. President Tinubu has appointed Professor Segun Aina (currently 39 years old) as the new JAMB Registrar.
· Post-UTME Screenings: The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has opened its portal for the 2026/2027 session, with registration running from June 14 to August 14.

Candidates slated for the mop-up exam should visit the official JAMB website to print their slips immediately and ensure they follow all guidelines.
