It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sheikh Saidu Hassan JINGIR, Deputy National Chairman II of the Ulamau Council of JIBWIS, who served as the third in command at the JIBWIS National Headquarters in Jos, Nigeria.

Sheikh Jingir passed away after an illness. His Jana'iza (funeral prayer) will take place today thursday 6th March, 2025 at 2pm at Anguwar Rimi Juma'at Mosque, Jos, Plateau State.

We extend our deepest condolences and prayers to Fadilatu Ash-Sheikh Muhammad Sani Yahaya Jingir, National Leader of JIBWIS, the Government and people of Plateau State, the entire JIBWIS community and the nation

May Allah (SWT) grant the departed soul Jannatul Firdaus and comfort his family, loved ones, and the entire Muslim Ummah during this difficult time. Ameen.

ببالغ الحزن والأسى تلقينا نبأ وفاة الشيخ سعيد حسن جنجير. لقد كرس حياته للعلم الشرعي ونشر تعاليم الإسلام، وكان مثالًا للعالم المخلص في دعوته. من خلال قيادته لجماعة إزالة البدعة وإقامة السنة (JIBWIS)، عمل بلا كلل لنشر الفهم الصحيح للدين ومحاربة البدع.

كانت دروسه التفسيرية السنوية في رمضان مصدر هداية ونور لكثير من المسلمين، حيث قدم فيها فهمًا عميقًا للقرآن الكريم. كما كان له دور بارز في دعم التعليم والتوعية بمخاطر التطرف والانحراف، مما ساهم في تعزيز السلام والاستقرار في المجتمع.

رحم الله الشيخ سعيد حسن جنجير، وجعل مثواه الفردوس الأعلى، وألهم أهله ومحبيه الصبر والسلوان.

I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Sheikh Saeed Hassan Jingir. His unwavering dedication to Islamic scholarship and his efforts in promoting peace and unity have left an indelible mark on our community. Through his leadership in the Jama'atu Izalatul Bid'ah Wa Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), he tirelessly worked to foster a deeper understanding of our faith . His annual Ramadan Tafsir sessions were a source of enlightenment for many, guiding us towards a more profound comprehension of the Quran. Sheikh Jingir's commitment to education and his stance against extremist ideologies have been instrumental in promoting peace and understanding within our society. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and provide comfort to his family and all who mourn this great loss.
