As we enter the final month of the year, I would like to take a moment to extend warmest wishes to each and every one of you for a happy new month.

As we approach the year's end, let us take a moment to reflect on our accomplishments and challenges. Let us celebrate our successes and draw valuable lessons from our mistakes. Let us utilize this opportunity to grow and become improved versions of ourselves.

As we look forward to the new year, let us establish new objectives and make new resolutions. Let us strive to become better students, leaders, and members of our community. Let us make a positive impact and leave a lasting legacy.

To achieve greatness, we must work together. Let us support one another, motivate each other, and uplift each other. Let us make our community proud by being the best versions of ourselves.

As we gather tonight to pay our last respects to our beloved Chief (Hon.) Olubisi Samuel Odewumi (The Oluomo of Asipa Land), we come before You with heavy hearts, filled with grief, sorrow, and love. We thank You for the gift of his life, service, and legacy.

We pray for the soul of our departed leader, and mentor that You grant him eternal rest and peace. May his good deeds, kindness, and service be rewarded, and may his memory be a blessing to us all.

As we light the candle tonight, symbolizing the light of his life and legacy, we ask that you comfort and console his entire family, Asipa Land and, the State at large. Grant us strength, peace, and hope in the midst of sorrow.

May this gathering be a celebration of our beloved Chief (Hon.) Olubisi Samuel Odewumi (The Oluomo of Asipa Land) life, achievements, and impact. May we honor his memory by continuing his work, upholding his values, and living out his legacy.

We pray for the family, friends, and colleagues who are mourning. May Your love and peace surround them, and may they feel Your presence in their lives.
