CONSCIOUS PARENTING WITH CHECHE

TEACH THEM BEFORE THEY NEED IT

PART 2 OF 7

🚨 “DON’T TALK TO STRANGERS” IS NOT ENOUGH.

Stop scrolling, dear parent.

We need to teach our children what to do when a stranger approaches them.

What if someone says:

“Your mummy sent me.”

“Come, I’ll take you to your daddy.”

“I have sweets for you.”

“Help me find something.”

Or even:

“Don’t tell your parents.”

Your child needs to know:

🛑 STOP.
🗣️ SAY NO.
🚶 MOVE AWAY.
👮 FIND A SAFE ADULT.
🏠 TELL YOUR PARENT.

And please teach them this:

People who look friendly are not automatically safe.

Safety is not about how someone looks.

It is about what that person is asking your child to do.

Let’s raise children who are polite—but not easily manipulated.

Dear parent, don’t just read this. Teach it. Practise it. Repeat it.

We may not always be beside our children, but we can prepare them for moments when we are not.

🌸 CONSCIOUS PARENTING WITH CHECHE

TEACH THEM BEFORE THEY NEED IT

PART 1 OF 7

🚨 IF YOUR CHILD GETS LOST, WILL THEY KNOW WHAT TO DO?

Stop scrolling, dear parent.

Imagine being in a crowded place and suddenly your child cannot find you.

Will they panic and start running around?

Or will they know exactly what to do?

Here are 10 things every child should know:

1️⃣ Their full name—not just their nickname.

2️⃣ Their parent’s full name—not only “Mummy” or “Daddy.”

3️⃣ At least one trusted parent’s phone number.

4️⃣ Their home area or a familiar landmark.

5️⃣ STOP and stay where they are instead of running around looking for you.

6️⃣ Who they can safely approach for help.

7️⃣ Never follow anyone who says, “Your mummy sent me.”

8️⃣ How to confidently say, “I can’t find my parent. Please help me.”

9️⃣ Never hide or enter an isolated place when lost.

🔟 Most importantly, they should know that being lost does not mean they should follow just anybody.

Dear parent, don’t just read this. Teach it. Practise it. Repeat it.

We may not always be beside our children, but we can prepare them for moments when we are not.

Just like this right?

HELLO SEPTEMBER! 🍂❤️

Dear Parent, as we step into a new month, may you receive fresh strength to raise your children with wisdom, patience and grace.

May you have the resources to provide for them, the wisdom to guide them, and the patience to enjoy the little moments along the way.

This September, may our children grow in wisdom, confidence, good character and favour. May our homes know peace, and may our efforts as parents never be in vain. 🙏🏽❤️

Happy New Month, amazing parents!
September will be good to us! ✨

A child having a different opinion doesn’t automatically mean you’ve lost your authority. Sometimes, it’s an opportunity to teach respectful communication. ❤️

From our Wednesday wear to beautiful local slippers! 🩴😍

At Excellent Kizz Model School, we turn learning into practical experiences. Our scholars didn’t just watch—they created, worked together and had fun! ❤️

This is what learning beyond the classroom looks like. ✨

THEY THINK THEY’RE JUST PLAYING… BUT THEY’RE LEARNING. 👀❤️

Children don’t only learn when they’re sitting quietly with a book.

Sometimes, learning looks like swimming, running, playing, competing, laughing and trying again after getting it wrong.

These experiences help children develop confidence, courage, teamwork, discipline and independence—skills they will carry far beyond childhood. 🏊‍♀️💦

As parents, let’s not underestimate the power of play and meaningful experiences.

A child needs more than academic knowledge. They need opportunities to discover who they are and what they can do. ❤️

What important life skill do you think children develop through activities like this? 👇🏽

Healthy competition can motivate a child to grow. Comparison can make them feel inadequate.

Teach your child to compete with who they were yesterday—not with another child. ❤️

Celebrate progress. Encourage effort. Build confidence.

STOP SCROLLING! 🌸⏰

Little hands. Big imagination. ✂️❤️

In Nursery, learning isn’t just about books. When children turn simple cardboard into flowers and clocks, they’re building creativity, confidence, fine-motor skills and problem-solving abilities—all while having fun.

Learning with their hands. Creating with their minds. Growing with confidence. 🌱✨
