Good Friday is a solemn day of remembrance, a day when we reflect on the immense sacrifice Jesus made for us. It was on this day that love was nailed to a cross, bearing the weight of our sins, so that we could be set free.
Though it’s called “Good,” the day was marked by pain and suffering. Yet, it is “good” because it reveals the depth of God’s love and the beginning of our redemption.
“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” – Isaiah 53:5 (NIV)
