📚 English Tip: “Borrow” vs “Lend”
These two words are often confused, but they are not the same.
👉 Borrow means to take something from someone and return it later.
Example: Can I borrow your pen?
👉 Lend means to give something to someone temporarily, expecting it back.
Example: Can you lend me your pen?
📝 Easy way to remember:
Borrow = I receive.
Lend = I give.
Now, complete this sentence 👇
“Please ___ me your book; I want to read it.”
Would you choose borrow or lend? 🤔
