Our different understanding of Leadership makes it more difficult to interpret. 👇

Being in Leadership not only avails you the opportunity to serve but also gives you the privilege of understanding the following traits that come with it:

1. Until you are given authority over people, you cannot tell much about them. Leadership provides you with the opportunity to have closer relationships with people. The closer you are, the more you tend to read through their emotional intelligence to understand them better.

2. Leadership is not a state of perfection. It's an opportunity to learn from others to grow. When you come into leadership with an " I know it all " mindset, you are bound to crash halfway. Leadership is a learning process.

3. In leadership, prepare your mind that you cannot please everyone. No matter how hard you try. Even your best won't be enough for the naysayers. Be good after all.

4. Patience, tolerance, dedication, resilience and a sense of purpose should always be your driving force. It takes patience to tolerate. And Tolerance to have patience.

5. Leadership is an opportunity to express your gift. You must not be in an office to lead. You can lead from wherever you are. That's why Leadership is a state of mind.
