Yesterday, tragedy struck in my hometown as bandits attacked the Shagbe palace. Two innocent lives were lost, and six of our people were kidnapped. Families are in tears, our community is deserted, and fear now walks freely in our streets.

Yet, the government will comes out to tell us they are “in control of the situation.” How can you say you are in control when our homes are burning, our loved ones are being buried, and our people are being carried away like animals?

This is not what you guys promised us when you were elected. You swore an oath to protect lives and property, but instead, your government has brought us nothing but sorrow, sadness, and endless pain. You expect us to remain silent, but silence is no longer an option.

Enough is enough. Stop playing politics with the lives of ordinary citizens. Leadership is not about propaganda—it is about protecting the people who trusted you with their votes. A new era will come, and when it does, this failure will never be forgotten.
