WAAW Foundation 2024 Scholarship for African Female Students

Applications are now open for the 2024 WAAW Foundation Scholarship. WAAW Foundation Scholarship enables female college students in Africa to pursue their studies in a STEM-related course. With this scholarship, you are free to focus on achieving your academic goal and volunteer to give back to your community and promote the engagement of women in STEM through the STEM Outreach Chapter at their university.

Eligibility Criteria
Female students of African origin, living and studying in Africa.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
Studying STEM-related courses in a University or college in Africa.
Presently a first or second year student or a third-year student for a 5-year course in a University.
Ability to demonstrate financial need
Excellent Academic Record.
Proven leadership, volunteering, and community service.
Below the age of 32 years.

The WAAW Foundation scholarship is a one-time award of $500.

The NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture in pursuance of its Corporate Social Responsibility invites suitably qualified applicants for its 2023/2024 & 2024/2025 Sessions Tertiary Scholarship Scheme, effective May 27 to June 30, 2024.

Host/Transit Communities Merit Award – For applicants strictly from NAOC Host/Transit Communities
National Merit Award – For applicants from Non-Host/Transit Communities

MTN Foundation 2024 Scholarship Programme for Nigerian Students.

Applications are now open for the 2024 MTN Foundation Scholarship Scheme. MTN Foundation, in 2010, established the MTN Scholarships Program, an annual award that recognizes and rewards eligible high performing students in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions.

MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (MTN STS)
MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (MTN STS) since 2010, has been open to eligible 300 level students studying Science & Technology-related courses, in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education). 300 students are awarded scholarships until graduation upon meeting grade requirements. Starting in 2024, the annual award amount has increased from N200,000 to N300,000.

The application is open to students who have completed their second semester 200 level examinations going to 300 level and students currently in their 300 level as we understand that the academic calendar in not aligned across all public tertiary institutions.

STEM Students in Public Universities, and Colleges of Education must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score of 3.0/4 or 3.5/5 (second class upper credit)

Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship

The scholarship programme is aimed at encouraging hard work and academic excellence amongst Nigerian undergraduates and it is open to students who participated in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have gained admission into any Nigerian state or federal university.

The following documents are required for upload to apply for the 2023/2024 Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship:

Recent Passport Photograph
Valid ID Card- NIN slip, voter's card, birth certificate or international passport
2023 UTME Result with a minimum score of 250
Minimum of 5 credits (including Mathematics and English Language) in the O'Level ( WAEC, NECO or GCE) with a valid Statement of Result or Certificate
JAMB or University Admission Letter
