It was indeed a very fierce battle between the learners of St. Johnbosco College Aliade, Mt. St. Michael’s Secondary School, Aliade and about 20 other secondary schools in attendance as we engaged in a quiz competition organized by Doxalife Church international secondary school summit

It will interest you to know that St. Johnbosco College Aliade emerged as the :

1. First runner up in the competition- This means St. Johnbosco College Aliade is a school that is made up of intellectuals

2. First to arrive the venue - This means we teach the leaners to be disciplined

3. First to Register for the competition- We teach the leaners to learn to work ahead of time and not to procrastinate

We are building a school and learners that will change the narrative positively

Today, our school participated in a quiz competition organized by the Doxalife International Church, held in Aliade.

Present at the competition were St. John Bosco College, Mt. Michael Secondary School, and eighteen other schools.

The quiz covered the following subjects:
Mathematics
English Language
Civic Education
Christian Religious Studies (CRS)

We are delighted to announce that at the end of the competition, our school emerged as the First Runner-Up.

The Principal, Rev. Fr. Gyungu Raphael, and the school management appreciated the students for this outstanding achievement.
He also commended the staff who accompanied the students, Mr. Agbadu Moses and Mr. Benjamin H., for their dedication and support.

Today, our Principal, Rev. Fr. Raphael Gyungu, initiated a meaningful step by identifying and grouping students according to their various denominations of worship.

As a Catholic school, it is our responsibility to guide students to grow in the right way—becoming responsible, disciplined, and obedient individuals.

This initiative is aimed at encouraging students to attend and actively participate in their respective churches and mosques.

To make this effective, each group has a leader who will take attendance during services and report back to the school on Monday.

This effort reflects the timeless principle of St. John Bosco: “Catch them young.”—instilling strong values early in life.

A step in the right direction toward building a morally sound and God-fearing generation.

We don’t offer only Western education; we also teach values, character, and respect.
