A lot of young people have given up on themselves. They judge themselves based on their family background, so they choose who to marry with that in mind in order to secure the future.

Many young ladies are looking for guys that are rich, they consider professions as criteria for who to marry. Even guys these days are looking for a secured future. Many young men who are from an average family are searching for a lady who would help secure their future.

They totally give up on themselves that they may not really make it the way they wish. Are you God? What is your motive for wanting to marry that guy or girl?
Has God really said he or she is the one for you? Do you still go ahead inspite of the sinking feeling you are having about the relationship?

Some will do or give anything to sustain the relationship. They give whatever is asked, their body, time, attention and they don't even mind to skip church just to be with him or her.
Sincerely ask yourself this question, if that guy or girl is not as rich as he or she is right now, or he is just another child of God who is still trusting God for a breakthrough, would you still consider them for marriage?

It really doesn't take God time to lift a man. Don't choose to secure the future. The greatest security is from God. Let God lead you.
