The following are the Types of Transmission Systems:

1. Manual: It is a transmission system where gear changes require the driver to manually select the gears by operating a gear stick and clutch.

2. Automatic: It is a multi-speed transmission used in motor vehicles that does not require any input from the driver to change forward gears under normal driving conditions.

3. CVT: A CVT, or continuously variable transmission, is an automatic transmission that uses pulleys and a belt or chain to continuously change gear ratios, instead of fixed gears.

4. IMT: Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) is a clutchless transmission that combines the convenience of an automatic transmission with the control of a manual transmission.

5. DCT: A dual-clutch transmission (DCT) is a type of transmission that combines the performance of a manual transmission with the ease of use of an automatic transmission.

6. AMT: The automated manual transmission is a type of transmission for motor vehicles. It is essentially a conventional manual transmission equipped with automatic actuation to operate the clutch and/or shift gears.

For students learning to drive from start an easy thing to remember is your ABC. From right to left Accelerator Brake and Clutch . Then just remember use your left foot for the clutch only and use your right foot for the accelerator and the brake.
If your driving an automatic the same rules apply just use your right foot on your brake and accelerator . Don’t use your left foot to brake .

What are Traffic signs?

To put it simply, traffic signals are symbolized, illustrative guidance for road users for safer and more convenient traveling. It doesn’t matter you drive a car, ride a bike or just walk, it is mandatory that you obey all the traffic signals in Nigeria as they are definitely not decorators of urban design. Nor are they there for your reference. They were designed to stay and be conformed to. Always look out for road signs or traffic signals to guild you as you use the roads.

SPEED!
Drivers believe that the faster they drive the more they impress themselves and others. They however forget that anything can happen while driving such as Tyre burst, brake failure or pedestrian running across the road etc. Remember crashes claim the lives of more passengers than drivers. On the avarage, eight passengers are killed along with only one driver 8:1
Remember a good driver is one who drives keeping in mind his safety and that of other road user.

Enjoy the rest of your week.
