DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY HEALTH
The Department of Community Health prepares students to become competent frontline healthcare professionals dedicated to promoting healthy communities. Through a blend of classroom learning, practical training, community outreach, and clinical experience, students acquire the knowledge and skills needed to deliver quality primary healthcare services. Graduates are equipped for rewarding careers in community and public health.
PHARMACY TECHNICIANS' DEPARTMENT
The Pharmacy Technicians' Department trains students to support safe and effective pharmaceutical care. The programme combines sound theoretical knowledge with practical experience in drug dispensing, medication management, inventory control, and patient care. Graduates are prepared to work confidently in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other healthcare settings.
MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIANS’ DEPARTMENT

Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess five (5) O'Level credit passes in relevant science subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

A Historic Visit: The Man Behind the Name Finally Walks the Campus.
I thought of the best caption to give this story, but a single caption just wouldn't do. I wanted to call it:
- The Arrival of a Father, A Moment of Blessing
- The Bishop, The Blessing, The Moment
- When History Drove Through Our School Gate
- The Name We Bear, The Man We Welcomed

Today was one of those beautiful days that will remain in the hearts of students and staff of Bishop Etokudoh College of Health Sciences and Technology for a very long time.

The atmosphere on campus changed the moment the news spread that Most Rev. Camillus Etokudoh — the very man after whom our great institution is named — was arriving in the school premises. Excitement filled the air as students rushed out joyfully to welcome him. For many of them, it was their very first time seeing the Bishop in person, and the smiles on their faces said it all.

As his vehicle drove into the campus, cheers and warm greetings echoed around the school environment. It was truly a moment of pride, honor, and celebration for the entire college community.

The Provost, Rev. Fr. Primus Umoh, warmly welcomed the bishop with a short but heartfelt speech, expressing gratitude for his visit and the fatherly love he continues to show the institution. In response, Most Rev. Camillus Etokudoh spoke graciously and poured out sincere blessings upon the land, the college, the management, staff, and students. His words carried warmth, wisdom, and genuine love for the growth and future of the institution.

There was joy everywhere. Students could not hide their excitement as they watched, listened, and celebrated the presence of the Bishop among them. The visit may have been brief before his return to Port Harcourt, but the memories created today will surely last for years.

Indeed, today was more than just a visit — it was a moment of blessing, unity, inspiration, and unforgettable joy at Bishop Etokudoh College of Health Sciences and Technology.
