*Today is the D-Day!*
We are thrilled to introduce our distinguished speaker: _Mr. Ishola Abeeb Akinwumi._
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Nigeria. He later earned a Master's degree in Chemoinformatics from the University of Strasbourg, France.
In 2024, he interned with the Computational Algorithms for Protein Structures and Interactions (CAPSID) team at Inria, CNRS, and the University of Lorraine, where he conducted research on the conformational dynamics of the spike trimer.
Currently, Mr. Akinwumi is pursuing a PhD at the BioSim Lab, University at Buffalo, New York, USA. His research focuses on the computational study of intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs)—proteins whose dynamic and flexible nature poses challenges for experimental analysis, making computational modeling an invaluable tool.
