The role of women can not be undermined in Nigerian politics.

From precolonial times to the early 21st century, the role and status of women in Nigeria have continuously evolved. However, the image of a helpless, oppressed, and marginalized group has undermined their proper study, and little recognition has been granted to the various integral functions that Nigerian women have performed throughout history.

Women are the ones seeing at the forefronts of every political campaigns and elections, women's passion for the growth of the country's politics should be regarded.
Women are not as docile or powerless as contemporary literature tends to portray them.

In the next election in Ondo state we want women to stand and contest for important political seats in Ondo state.

We the Articulate ladies in politics of Ondo State promise to give our full support to any governorship aspirant that picks a woman as their running mate.

Ekiti State, a state younger than our state, has produced three female deputy governors, Mrs. Abiodun Olujimi, Prof Aduke Adelabu who replaced Mrs. Funmilayo Olayinka.
Osun State has also written its name by bringing to limelight Otunba Grace Titilayo Laoye Tomori and Erelu Olusola Obada while Ogun State has not been left out with Mrs. Yetunde Bosede Onanuga.

Ese Odo local government area, yesterday witnessed a massive pressence of leaders and members of the people's democratic party, when the local government placed host to an effulgent of progressive politics and a leading aspirant in PDP, Chief Olusola Nehemiah Ebiseni.

Ebiseni, who holds two chieftaincy titles from the local government is the Ibedubamowei (Atunluse) of Arogbo Ibe and Otunbaleye of Apoi land, was welcomed in grand style.

No doubt Ondo State is moving in ONE direction.
