JAMB SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS ON O’LEVEL RESULTS UPLOAD

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has signed an agreement with the National Examinations Council (NECO), National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), and National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) on the upload and verification of candidates’ O’Level results.

The agreement, signed on Friday, is aimed at further streamlining the process of accessing and verifying O’Level results during the admission process.

According to the development, JAMB is set to onboard the three examination bodies onto its O’Level verification portal, allowing candidates’ results to be accessed and verified more efficiently.

The initiative is expected to improve coordination between JAMB and the examination bodies while reducing difficulties candidates may encounter during O’Level verification as part of the admission process.

The Board’s move also represents a further step towards integrating the examination bodies into its verification system and making the admission process more seamless for prospective candidates.

The Council wishes to inform all Principals of schools presenting candidates for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates, 2027 that arrangements for the examination have commenced.

As part of the preparations for the examination, the Head of National Office (HNO) has approved the opening of the Continuous Assessment Scores (CASS) Portal for the uploading of CASS 1 and CASS 2 by schools.

Accordingly, the CASS Portal would be open from 7 September, 2026 to 20 November, 2026.

All Principals are therefore advised to ensure that their schools upload the required CASS 1 and CASS 2 records within the stipulated period. Schools are encouraged to commence the exercise early and avoid waiting until the closing date.

Please note that the Portal will close at midnight on 20 November, 2026. Consequently, no school should delay the uploading of its CASS records beyond the stipulated deadline.

Principals are requested to give this matter the necessary attention and ensure full compliance.

The Council appreciates your continued cooperation and support towards the successful conduct of WASSCE.
