As founders, we often talk about hiring the right people.

We don’t talk enough about choosing the right partners.

The businesses that grow sustainably aren’t built by founders trying to do everything themselves. They’re built by people and partners you can trust to own their expertise, so you can stay focused on yours.

Over the past year, Dgazelle Digital has been one of those partners for us.

As someone without a technical background, having a team I can rely on has made all the difference. Knowing our digital ecosystem is in capable hands gives me the confidence to focus on building the business, not worrying about the technology behind it.

I’m sharing this because exceptional partners deserve to be recognised.

If you’re looking for a team that brings both technical expertise and genuine ownership to your business, I highly recommend contacting Dgazelle | Digital Marketing & Growth today.

I just finished a coaching call and today’s focus was on networking!

As much as networking has become a somewhat dirty word, it is still a key tool as you build your executive visibility, one many women over look.

As experts, we come across so many people in our careers. People who we impress with our expertise, delivery and knowledge but how do we harness this into a thriving network.

Many women spend years in organizations, meeting top level clients, stakeholders, peers and high level leaders and leave those relationships to dry out.

Think back, imagine if you had been strategic in keeping relationships for the last 5 years. Who would you have a good professional relationship with now that could open doors for you?

Hmmmm

At the invisible to influential virtual challenge, I’ll be showing you how to build a strategic network. Three days, starting on Monday. To get all the details type NETWORKING in the comments or send me a dm and I’ll share all the details with you.

The word ‘ready’ in board- ready creates the impression that readiness for boards is a place you arrive at.

It isn’t.

Working with my clients who range from board advisors, trustees, NEDS tells me one critical thing.

The boardroom is a journey not a destination.

And each opportunity sharpens your expertise for the next.

There’s a lot of pressure now to be board ready, to be seen, to be qualified. But what if we shifted the focus to building on the journey instead of a final destination point.

This is why I teach women about visibility because it compounds as you build your board capabilities.

On Monday I am hosting my three day virtual invisible to influential challenge and it is specifically for women who are ready to start and keep building on their journey of competence, visibility and credibility.

If this sounds like you, send me a DM or type board ready in the comments.

Can I be honest?

This visibility thing can be tiring.

It’s like executives with years of experience also have to become full time content creators too, plus a demanding role, reporting lines, shareholders……it’s a lot of work.

Or is it?

We are all witnessing the rise of top CEOs and board leaders who typically engaged only with their peers on the 20th floor now creating social media accounts and sharing their knowledge.

Why?

Times have changed.

Digital trust is now a premium currency and many leaders are seeing the tide shift.

So what should you do?

Get strategic!

Understand how to tie your goals to your visibility efforts and build with intentionality.

This is why I am hosting the invisible to influential challenge. A 3 day virtual session to help you build your thought leadership blueprint so you can show up authentically but with the right strategy to achieve your goals.

Type strategy in the comments to get all the details!

What do you think, is visibility starting to get stressful?

One of the biggest career myths women are taught is this.

“If I keep doing great work, someone will notice.”

Many women spend years waiting for recognition.

Years waiting for the promotion.
Years waiting for the board invitation.
Years waiting for someone to connect the dots.

Meanwhile, someone else with less experience speaks about their work, builds relationships, shares ideas, and becomes the obvious choice.

The issue is rarely competence.

The issue is visibility.

I also think there is a deeper problem.

Many women have spent decades believing that talking about their achievements feels arrogant.

Many were praised for being humble, reliable, and hardworking.

Few were taught how to communicate value with confidence.

So they stay quiet.

They assume their results speak for themselves.

They hope excellence will travel without their voice.

Leadership does not work like that.

If people do not understand your thinking, they will struggle to see your leadership.

If decision makers do not know the problems you solve, they will struggle to trust you with bigger opportunities.

Ask yourself.

• Do the right people know what you have achieved this year?
• Do they know what you think, not only what you do?
• Do they know the value you bring at the next level?
• Are you waiting to be noticed?

Visibility is part of leadership.

Your work deserves context.

Your ideas deserve an audience.

Your experience deserves a voice.
