Yesterday, the KG1 teacher was not in school, so the head teacher asked me to help the class for a while.
My people... I nearly f@inted.

Those children do not hear “keep quiet” oo.
Before you turn 5 seconds, two are already figh&ting.
Another one is climbing chair.
Some are rolling on the floor.
If you are teaching them, only like 3 will answer… the rest are doing their own assignment in their brain.

Every one minute:
“Aunty I want to drink water.”
“Aunty I want to wee.”
“Aunty I want to poo.”

I just stood there looking like babysitter of the year.

But the funny part? Even while they are playing and doing waka up and down, if you ask them a question, they will answer correctly.
So apparently, they hear everything… they just like stre&ss!

Let me tell you, if you don’t have patience, or if you get quick tem&per, teaching small children is NOT your calling.

The moment the head teacher came back, I ran. I did not walk. I ran!

Please, appreciate your children’s teachers.
They are doing PhD in patience.
