This is to notify all our parents, guardians, students and pupils that our School Divine model International Gifted School will resume on Mondah 18th of January, 2021. We encourage you to release your Wards to School as teaching and learning will commence the same day

Welcome Back!
I hope you enjoyed Christmas and New year celebration. I also hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year.
I am delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community. I welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education, and I look forward to working with you and your children.
All signs point to another incredible and productive school year.
Our skilled and devoted staffs are already planning and preparing for your child(ren).
Our enthusiastic office team is registering new families, ordering needed materials and updating student files. Admission forms are available for Creche, Nursery 1-2, Primary 1-5 and JSS1-SS2.,Our hard working and conscientious custodians are thoroughly cleaning the facility. And, our much appreciated PTA is gearing up to welcome families, provide rewarding opportunities, and offer other exciting events and programs. We are indeed a joyous and caring school community with the common goals of nurturing responsible, caring students and promoting high-level learning.

Each year brings positive change. This includes a few additions to our staff. We are delighted to welcome everyone, our new staffs. All of you brought solid skills set and gentle, sensitive approaches to meeting children’s health and emotional needs. We are fortunate to have a team like you.

If you drove past the school , you may have noticed numerous maintenance and construction projects. First, we repainted our school walls and have created a laboratory preparatory room, works are still on going. I am pleading particularly with parents and also teachers to advice students to desist from drawing and writing on walls.
Thank you for reminding your children to walk only portions of sidewalk that do not have grasses.
Finally, Thank you so much for being positive with your child and helping him or her understand that it is impossible to place all students with a preferred best friend or teacher. All of our staff works hard to make school a positive experience for ALL students. Divine Model International Gifted School is eagerly looking forward to enriching your child’s life. Thank you for understanding that it can take a few weeks for a child to acclimate to a new environment, group and teacher.

INTRODUCTION OF ONLINE LESSONS. Our school has commenced online lessons to ensure that our pupils/students while observing the stay at home continue to learn or have their lessons. The program is intended to devise a way forward for our learners. We thank for our proprietress for coming up with this ideal at this crucial time of the Covid19 pandemic. I am delighted to inform you that our online learning programme is set to commence this May 2020. The Management has had to take this decision carefully to ensure that we meet our learners‘ needs while still abiding by the directives of the Federal Government education authorities. Parents will not be required to pay any fees for the first 2 weeks of the program. This has been made possible by our generous proprietress Chief Mrs Sarah Okwu by offsetting the cost of the program for all learners during this period. We appreciate her for this kind gesture at this difficult and challenging period of the pandemic. We will update you on how to take part in this program. Mean while parents who interested in the online program will be required to send details of their children to us e.g (Name and Class) In the event that the online learning lessons continues after the two weeks, the program will become fee-based and will only be open to families who subscribe for it. Our school head will share the timetables and other modalities of the program to those who indicate their interest by sending their children/wards details. Ensure that your children/wards are part of this programme. We also appeal that you provide them with necessary tools and devices to work with.
