Today, the students at Dorcas Palace Academy had an exciting opportunity to work with the amazing team from Waste to Art Nigeria! 🎨🌍

We learned how to turn everyday waste materials into beautiful works of art. From transforming dead branches into stunning flowers made of plastic bottles, to creating an abstract dress from discarded Ankara fabric, the possibilities were endless! The students also had fun making flower vases from disposable cups and turning bottle caps into colorful flowers. One of the most exciting projects was creating a map of Africa entirely out of plastic bottle caps! 🌱

The creativity and energy from our students were inspiring! They were so excited to display their artwork and even competed to find the best spot for their creations.

At Dorcas Palace Academy, we believe in fostering both creativity and environmental awareness. Thanks to Waste to Art Nigeria, our students got hands-on experience in upcycling and learned how they can help make the world a greener, more sustainable place. ♻️
