THE PRESIDENTIAL NEW YEAR MESSAGE

The National President of Ola-Oluwa Muslim Grammar School Ado Ekiti, Old Students Association, Brigadier General Dele Tajudeen Olabode (Rtd) has wished all our Distinguished Members a Prosperous New Year 2025.

In a statement by the Assistant Spokesperson of the Association, Comrade Akinluyi Oluwaseyi(Omo Akin), he said the President rejoice with all the old students both home and abroad as we enters the new year with peace.

The President also saluted all the sets that organised their reunion events for taking very thoughtful decisions as prelude to greater strides towards repositioning our Alma Mater as the best amongst its equal. This would avail us all the enabling platform to foster unity and cordial relationships across OMGSOSA sets.

The President went further to state that Year 2024 was a year to remember as he urged members to remain United as the spirit of unity will definitely give birth to unimaginable development for our Alma Mater.

The OMGSOSA President further prayed for a fruitful Year 2025 and wishes all the very best of luck in the new year and beyond. To God be the glory for taking us this far, for he loves us all.

2005 Set of OMGSOSA ends the year with funfair and Election.

22nd of December 2024 will always be memorable for the 2005 set of old students association of Ola-Oluwa Muslim Grammar School, Ado Ekiti as they all gathered together to hold their first ever reunion party and maiden election to elect their set leadership at the famous Fajuyi Park.

The election was cordinated and supervised by the National executives ably represented by the National Financial Secretary, SAYE and the Assistant Publicity Secretary, Omo Akin.

The event was in high spirit when the National President, Brigadier General Dele Tajudeen Olabode (Rtd) called in and spoke with all the Alumni directly to give his Goodwill message to them and rejoice with the amazing set.

In his reaction, the newly elected Govenrnor of the set, Mr. Akerele Oluwaseun who won with a close gape of just one vote against his opponent Mr. Awoniyi Oloruntoba to clinch the position said he's ready to bring harmony to the fold and be a good ambassador of the OMGSOSA globally.

The Governor further stressed his commitment to work with the National body in regrading the school image.

CHRISTMAS GOODWILL MESSAGE FROM THE NATIONAL PRESIDENT TO OMGSOSA MEMBERS

Dear all members,

As the Christmas festivities is in the air, the National President of Ola-Oluwa Muslim Grammar Schoo, Ado Ekiti Old Students Association, Brigadier General Dele Tajudeen Olabode (Rtd) has called on us to pray for peace, hope and love that reflect the life of Jesus Christ.

In his Christmas Goodwill message to all OMGSOSA members, the President noted that despite the situation of things in the country, there's every reason to thank God for his favour and blessings.

He therefore called on all distinguished members of the association and Nigeria ar large to use the Yuletide periods to reflect on the significance of the season by showing love and affection to the less privileged in the Society.

The President, on behalf of the entire EXCO members, expresses his happiness for the unity among all members across sets and prayed for peaceful celebration filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.

OMGSOSA Celebrates an Icon

The EXCO members and all the alumni of our great citadel of learning congratulate one of us , Dr. (Alh) Adedayo Thomas (1984-Set )who has just finished his PhD. defence.

The National President of our great Association, Brigadier General Dele Tajudeen Olabode (Rtd), speaking through the Asst. Publicity Secretary, Mr Akinluyi Oluwaseyi (Omo Akin) stressed that the whole Alumni of the school celebrate the great status which Dr. Adedayo has just attained.

Essentially, Brigadier General Dele Tajudeen Olabode (Rtd) noted that High Chief (Alh) Dr. Adedayo Thomas' new achievement has attested to his capability and credibility as our great Ambassador per Excellence. The celebrated brand new Dr. earlier had the following laurels to his credit. These include HSONTA, FNANTAP, BA (Theatre Arts), PGD (Public Relations), Master in Development Studies, Dip. (Philosophy, History, Jurisprudence, and Economics of Liberty), MBA (Think-Thank Management), and a Fellowship of the Acton Institute USA.

The National President prayed for more achievements among members of the association with long life and prosperity.

Dr. (Alh) Adedayo Thomas of 1984-Set of OMGSOSA bagged this from the Benue State University, Markurdi, where he defended his PhD thesis titled "Film and Video Classification Awareness in Semi-Urban Nigeria: A Theatre for Development Study of Selected Nigerian States."

Congratulations, and wishing him many more wins in the years ahead!
