Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has officially commenced supplementary applications for candidates seeking admission into the University for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The supplementary application is open for all programmes and courses, except:
- Law
- Medicine and Surgery
- Nursing
- Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Marine Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Petroleum Engineering
Candidates who did not meet the Merit and Catchment Area cut-off marks for their preferred programmes are advised to take advantage of the supplementary admission opportunity and apply for other available programmes.

Candidates should log in to the RSU Candidate Application Portal and complete their supplementary application on or before September 6, 2026.
The University also clarified that only candidates who changed their programmes on the JAMB CAPS on or before July 4, 2026, before the release of the cut-off marks, were considered by the Senate Admission Committee.
Candidates who changed their programmes after July 4, 2026 have therefore been advised to proceed with the supplementary application.
