On Wednesday, 20th May 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Leeds Beckett University to our Abuja office on a courtesy visit to VIGICA Consult Limited.

The delegation included:
• Mrs. Adenike Omotosho - International Development Manager (Africa), International Recruitment & Partnerships
• Dr. Ikpe Ibanga - Course Director for Health and Safety
• Mr. Kiran Voderhobli - Director of Partnerships, BEEC, School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing

It was a productive and insightful meeting as we discussed several important areas around student recruitment, admissions, funding flexibility, and opportunities for prospective students interested in studying in the UK.

One of the key highlights from the meeting was the university’s revised scholarship offering, which has now increased from £3,000 to £5,000 for international students, a welcome development for many aspiring applicants.

We were also pleased to learn that Leeds Beckett University has approved the acceptability of NECO and HND qualifications for admission consideration, further opening doors for more students seeking international education opportunities.

The delegation also acknowledged the level of professionalism, commitment, and attention to detail we bring to student profiling and recruitment processes, and we sincerely appreciate the confidence they continue to place in us.

As the September recruitment cycle continues, conversations like these remain important in helping us create better opportunities and smoother pathways for students.

We thank the Leeds Beckett University team for visiting us and for the continued partnership. We look forward to building even stronger collaborations in the future.
