So, what exactly is phonics? 👀

Phonics helps children understand the relationship between letters and sounds so they can decode words; not just memorise them.

Think:
/s/ + /u/ + /n/ → SUN

The goal? Helping your child say:
“I don't know this word yet, but I can sound it out.” ❤️

That's the foundation of confident, independent reading.
