SYNONYMS
Synonyms are words with similar meanings.
These words can be used to replace the words the actual words but still means the same thing.
Examples are:
Happy-- Cheerful, Joyful, excited,etc
Sad-- Unhappy, unpleasant, etc
Rude-- Impolite, disrespectful,etc.
Examples in sentences are:
Happy:
1. He is a very cheerful person.
2. He was very joyful today.
3. He feels excited about winning the trophy.
Sad:
1. He looks unhappy because he lost his money.
2. He feels unpleasant about the situation.
Rude:
1. He's such an impolite person.
2. He was very disrespectful to his mom.
ANTONYMS
Antonyms are words with opposite meanings.
These words can be used in opposite meanings to the initial words.
Examples are:
Love-- Hatred, Dislike,etc
Kind-- Unkind, Cruel, wicked,etc
Friendly-- Unfriendly
Obedient-- Disobedient, stubborn,etc.
Examples in sentences are:
Love:
1. There's too much hatred in this world.
2. I dislike going to the pool.
Kind:
1. He was so unkind to the girl.
2. He was such a cruel father to his kids.
3. What a wicked world we live in.
Friendly:
1. The dog was unfriendly to its owner.
Obedient:
1. Blessing is a very disobedient girl.
2. Deborah is stubborn and refuses to obey anyone.

For animals: Dog, Goat, Sheep, Donkey, etc.
For person: Blessing, Victoria, Ayomide,etc.
For place: Kaduna, Abuja, Wuse, Ikeja,etc.
For things: Chair, Table, Board, Envelope,etc.
Examples of a noun in a sentence.
• The *donkey* loves humans.
• *Blessing*is very lazy.
• *Ayomide* loves to take care of *dogs*.
• *Kaduna* is a good place to farm.
• She broke the *chairs* when she had a fight *Janet*.
• The teachers write on the *board*
• I love to eat in a *restaurant*.

b. I forgot to *wrap* the gifts.
5. Leak / Lick
a. The tap started to *leak* few minutes ago.
b. Dogs love to *lick* their owner's body when thy are excited.
These words have different meanings entirely from each other but with similar sounds. So, don't get confused by the sounds but the meanings.
