Did you know that during the Covid 19 lockdown, there was a serious increase on reported cases of human rights violations such as r**e, sexual assaults as well as domestic violence. It was described as a pandemic within a pandemic. This prompted proactive intervention from the Government as well as other duty-bearers. What do you think gave rise to this problem? Please share your thoughts as well as proffer solution to this menace in the society.

Domestic violence though underreported is on the increase all over. Ignorance about guaranteed rights is responsible for some of these. There are laws and mechanisms for enforcement of victims of domestic violence. Dont die in silence!
