You can plant and harvest maize twice every year with the right irrigation, fertilizer/manure, seedlings and pesticides.

But you see coconut, mango and other perennials, it takes years to groom them before they start bearing fruits. But once they start, you rest and enjoy the fruits for life.

It was an honour to anchor the launch of the book "SAFE FUTURE" written by Mrs M. Raji, founder of The Modupe Smith Foundation, a non-profit and non-governmental organization which focuses on championing the education, welfare and wellbeing of the girl child. The book reviewer, Dr. Miki, an astute human development expert and motivator extraordinaire highlighted the importance of the book "Safe Future" which focused on calling on men to become partners and no longer by-standers in the proactive fight against tenage pregnancy. He urged all the men present whom he believed had a female i their lives either as mothers, sisters, wives or daughters to heed the clarion call and occuppy the front lines in this fight as very little can be achieved without their support. The event climaxed with the official bool launch and open sales.
