When I stood to give my welcome remarks at the Nurturing Nest Conference 2025, I wasn’t just speaking as a host. I was speaking as someone who had once been in the shoes of many of the children seated before me.

I shared a glimpse of my own childhood: the battles with trauma, the weight of low self-esteem, and the quiet moments when I felt unseen. But I also shared how I grew through it; slowly, with courage, with support, and with faith, into the woman I am today.

Why did I share this? Because every child in that room deserves to know that their story doesn’t end with struggle. They can rise. They can heal. They can dream, discover, and become.

My heart is full knowing that these seeds were planted in young hearts that day.

Now, to every child and adult reading this: your story matters, and your future is brighter than you think.

They came early. They came excited. They came ready. 💜

From 9:00 AM, our children, parents, and guests began to arrive for the Nurturing Nest Conference 2025. Watching the smiles, the laughter, and the eagerness in their eyes reminded us that this work is worth it.
