Delegate them with work around the house like helping with cooking, setting the table and making beds. Give them opportunities to demonstrate their competence and feel that their contribution is valuable. Always encourage them to pursue their interests fully.
Another way to boost confidence in children is to encourage them to take on tasks they show interest in, then make sure they follow through to completion. It doesn’t matter what the task the point is for them to stick with what they start, so they feel that hit of accomplishment at the end.

Every Child is blessed with strengths and abilities, no two children are the same as they all have different talents, interests, develop at different rates and have different strengths.
Practically speaking, parents can either build or break the confidence and self esteem of their Children. Expressing anger towards poor performance or bragging about achievements are both detrimental.
Be proud of your children for who they are, give them your love and strive to build a confident person out of your child.
