Diabetes and exercise
Exercise plays a major role in the control of diabetes. This is the reason why the ADA(American Diabetes Association) has prescribed at least 150 mins of exercise per week.
Exercise training results in increased skeletal muscle mitochondria and GLUT4 protein expression, which are associated with improved skeletal muscle insulin sensitivity and whole body metabolic health. Exercise-induced adaptations to skeletal muscle are essential to prevent and combat type 2 diabetes.
Simply put, exercise makes the muscles take up more blood sugar because they become more responsive to insulin produced by the body or given to the body.
There are different types of exercise one can partake in; swimming, walking, yoga, team sports, aerobic dancing, cycling, weightlifting and so much more.

The rule of 50-25-25
I would put down a few points which would be explained in a subsequent video.
- the right diet for a diabetic as depicted in the image above is the diet that contains 50% or more vegetables
-every class of food is important but must be combined in the right proportion as depicted in the image.
-quick sources of sugars should be avoided. Complex carbohydrates are preferred.
-persons living with diabetes should not eat late at night. Latest meal should be 7pm
-vegetables when used should be cooked lightly or eaten fresh to enjoy the nourishment it gives.
-an average of 3 litres of water per day is recommended for intake.

This is for those who are living with diabetes.
I feel your pain through the journey and I have identified the weakest point of your treatment which is diet control.
