Doveland International School is a Nursery, Primary school located in Wumba and Jabi, Abuja.

The school started its operations on September 14, 2009 at its Wuse 2 branch located at 21, Lingu crescent, off Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja and owing to its consistent and desirable growth an
d most importantly, to actualize the mission and vision behind its establishment, the school developed and started operations at her permanent structure located in the Wumba District of Abuja on September 4, 2015, providing education to children aged 6 months to 11 years in the Crèche , Nursery and Primary sections and at the Basic education level, to students aged 11 to 17 years old. Borne out of sheer vision and mission to bridge the gap that exists in our educational system, our core values underpin the school’s ethos, represented in a symbol of the value tree: Discipline, Excellence, Obedience, Trust, Honesty, Love… And all these we realize by building a culture of tolerance , trust and respect for each other while aiming at producing future world-citizens, game-changers and students who ‘ Must’ touch their generation positively. A personal growth model of child-centered teaching drives our vision, whereby we prepare our children intellectually, socially and morally, providing them with skills and knowledge required to navigate through the real world. We place strong emphasis on our highly creative and rigorous curriculum , a blend of the British and Nigeria curricular, painstakingly put together to realize our set objectives, where children achieve incredibly high and usually well-above average age-expectations. Today, Doveland continues to flourish as an outstanding school providing crèche, Nursery, Primary and recently, secondary education. Our academic achievements within the short span of existence in Maths, Oral poetry, Drama etc in external Competitions and entrance placement examinations to various high schools form the great hub of our testimony of living up to our promise! Our teachers, indeed , all school staff are professionally employed and trained to give the best to our children, providing extensive opportunities for learning using a variety of methods and styles to cater to the needs of each individual learner. The whole focus is on our wonderful children who are a real joy to be with. There is a sense of wonder, enquiry, boldness, and desire for knowledge that children share throughout their stay with us and we continue to urge them to live out the slogan of the school and ‘Soar to Excellence ‘ in all they attempt to do. At Doveland , a high standard of behaviour and positive attitude is expected of all members of the Doveland family and we employ different strategies to develop social skills, cultural and citizenship orientations.

The Doveland Festival of Praise was a beautiful and memorable moment—an atmosphere filled with heartfelt thanksgiving, joyful praise, and sincere gratitude to God for His faithfulness over the Doveland Group of Schools.
It was also a special time to honor and appreciate our dedicated staff, whose unwavering commitment, passion, and excellence continue to shape lives and build the future. As a token of gratitude, gifts were presented to celebrate their hard work, loyalty, and selfless service. Each smile reflected how valued and appreciated they truly are.
