*SUCCESSION:*
The best legacy that a nation, church, or family can pass on to their people is to equip the next generation to provide sound leadership. For example, in spite of his flaws, Eli the priest prepared Samuel to lead Israel in his stead when he left the scene. Again, David prepped Solomon to reign after he was gone. Submission and obedience to those who have succeeded through life experience is the best way of becoming a successor. I pray that as you obey instructions, posterity will bless, favour and honor you in Jesus’ name!

*PRIORITIES*:
We will represent “YOKE” and “YOUTH” to diligence and opportunity respectively. Since success comes through hard work, we must seize every opportunity while we have the ability. Let us not squander the time that should be dedicated to hard work for frivolities; there is time for everything. Therefore, we ought not to postpone a course that is worthwhile today because the opportunity may not return tomorrow. I pray that the Lord will empower us to be judicious, productive and profitable, in Jesus’ name!

*A CHANNEL OF BLESSING:* Showing kindness to people do not happen by chance; it requires planning, target, and timing. In other words, we must be deliberate, have in mind someone with a specific need, and aim at giving them some relief from stress. Practicing this would inspire others to learn. Again, it would create for us an environment of joy, care, and peace in a world of so much sorrow, hatred and chaos. I pray that we be part of a solution not part of a problem to one another, in Jesus’ name!

I know you’ve got a bunch of devotionals, but we focus more on the application of those scriptures to your life and environment on a daily basis. By the end of each day you could measure your input and output. So today’s thought is FREEDOM!! 😉 and I have decided to write starting from tomorrow morning but the consequences of my choices of not writing today is what I can’t determine yet I have freedom... is freedom truly free? Word for Wednesday: VIRTUE

Virtue means having HIGH MORAL STANDARDS OR EXCELLENCE. It is humanly and divinely acquired. When it is humanly acquired; it leads to self realization and respect for others and when it is divinely impacted it leads to repentance and fulfillment purpose. Virtue is our determination or choices to behave in a certain way regardless of the circumstances or situation. Right Virtue has essential fruits: Love, Peace, Honesty, Thankful / Grateful, Patience, Joy, Forgiveness, Meekness, Obedience, Truthfulness etc

You can not overcome your day and your week without choosing the right virtues.

MEDITATION: Phillipians 4:8-9

Father, help us to have the right attitude towards you and others. we pray this morning and in today; that our choices and attitude shall not bring reproach to your name, your kingdom, and our life. in Jesus name.

Word for TUESDAY: TREASURE

. An act or a system of preserving/storing what is of VALUE. This could be in both TANGIBLE AND INTANGIBLE. Example: Words of encouragement, advise or counsel could be treasured. Material substances could be treasured but most importantly; an item of value to the possessor.

When a thing has lost its value, it can't be treasured.. When your self worth or saltiness has been destroyed no one treasures you, when your heart, mind and thought processes or your light is not really guided based on the lack of knowledge of your worth then the value men will place on you can't be measured as take home..

You must learn to guard your heart, your mind and your speech over these three things, they either create value to be treasured or Diminish the worth of what has been built over the years

Meditation: MATTHEW 5:13

Father; may we never devalue our saltiness and diminishes our brightness.. Teach us to treasure that which has eternal value but of earthly relevance. This we pray in Jesus name.

Saturday... WEEK-END / WEAK-END

Today is of all days a week end. So, let's Praise God for this new month. Let's receive the month with excitement and joy, expecting the best out of the month.. Don't make today your weak end where you can't do anything useful and meaningful to yourself.. If you must work today, work like monday, but if you must rest, rest like it's not your weak-end. (Sleep)😄😀😊 see you in church tomorrow..

Word for Friday: DEDICATION..

Most often the word dedication is applied in two ways. First, showing our personal commitment to something / someone and secondly, when someone or something out of love is handed over to another as a gift. Examples: first example, we are dedicated to our job relationships and marriages and second example could be dedicating a baby, house, car whatever it is.

Why should we dedicate?

1) From the examples above; everyone's profiting is Embeded in what they are committed to and not what they wish. What you commit to by Gods design becomes responsible for your bills and welfare. Your dedication / commitment leads to your promotion and provision, whatever you commit to will grow either relationship or career.

2) Also, in the second example; the reason for dedication is quite un-knowing to some people but they do it under religious pretext.. When you dedicate a baby, a car, a house etc, it is an acknowledgement that you are grateful to God who is your source and sustainer. you are also acknowledging the fact that whatever you can not give back to God to keep, you lack the capacity to own.

In summary; no man ever: till eternity can sustainer a thing when they are not the source of that thing.. Why not dedicate it to God and be committed to him and what you believe to see it grow.

Meditation: PSALMS 127:1

Father, we thank you yet again for bringing us into the end of another work week. We see your daily commitment and dedication towards us by ensuring we are alive, healthy and in the right frame of Mind. Lord as we step out today; we commit and dedicate even today and the activities of the day to you, take control and order our steps in your pathway for us in Jesus name.

Word for Thursday: PRAYER

- prayer is communicating our intentions and desires to God and in return, He reveals His will to us in that regard. In order words, every answered prayers of your life was the will of God.

- God Answers every prayer of your life in three ways; He will either say YES! When it is will for you, NO! When it is not His will for you and WAIT when it is His will but you are not MATURE to handle the answer.

- Prayer should not be a child of need or born out of circumstance; prayer should be a Life style of communication by which we express our gratitude through thanksgiving, worship, exalting God, giving to Gods work and servants and acknowledging His wondrous deeds.

- prayer is not only what we do when we close our eyes, kneel or in a gathering; it could be that; but prayer is actually APPEALING TO A HIGHER POWER OVER A SITUATION WITH AN UNDERSTANDING THAT THAT CIRCUMSTANCE, INTENTION OR DESIRES HAS BEEN SETTLED IN THE FINISHED WORK OF THE CROSS IN OUR FAVOUR..

- In summary, the reason why we do not get answers to our prayers is either we were not sensitive or patient enough to God communicating His will back to us for us to appropriate or we pray from the perspective of victims and not victors. So when you pray today, pray like a victor knowing and not like a victim hoping..

Meditation: JEREMIAH 33:3

Eternal Father, we pray today thanking you for your wondrous work of grace and favour that has enable us to become partakers of your divine nature / inheritance. Today; as we step out, we are confident that you will hear us even as we communicate our intentions and the thoughts of our hearts to you. In Jesus name we pray.
