DEAR PARENTS, PLEASE TEACH YOUR CHILDREN BEFORE THE WORLD DOES.
Courtesy is more than saying “please” and “thank you.”
It is teaching a child that how they treat people matters.
Teach your children to greet properly.
Teach them the five magic words
Teach them not to interrupt when adults are speaking.
Teach them to respect people’s space, time, and presence.
And please, teach them how to address people older than them.
Not everyone is their “friend.”
An older person should not automatically be called by their first name simply because the child knows them.
Teach them to use respectful titles such as “Sir,” “Ma"am” “Aunty,” “Uncle,” “Mr.” or “Mrs.” according to your family and culture.
Because intelligence without manners is incomplete.
Your child may become highly educated, wealthy, influential and successful but never let success become an excuse for disrespect.
Manners are taught at home before they are tested outside.
Parents, don't only teach your children how to succeed. Teach them manners
Teach them how to carry success with character 📌
Raise children who know their worth without losing their respect for others.
Suddenly everyone is talking about that video of the young girl addressing TOE as Tony but your children do not respect your caregivers at home nor greet each other in the morning.
Raise children that understands culture and manners
