I just thought I should remind you that we won't be here forever.

What kind of man are you?

That's a question most people have to answer for themselves. They must come a time in an individual's life when he starts asking himself or herself: what kind of person am I? This is very important.

A man is his character. Your character should not be a haphazard arrangement of thoughts and impulses but a proper ordering of information. It should be a deliberate thing. Not something you just stumbled upon or a copying of people's behavior.

If your character is not what you planned and thought of but what you copied hook, line and sinker or what came out of your several impulses, then, you won't amount to much.

In the Bible, a story was told of two brothers: Cain and Abel. Once they both offered to God of their produce. Cain's offering wasn't accepted. The reason why Cain's offering wasn't accepted was because of his person. God told him, "if you do well, you will be accepted, but if you don't do well, nothing will stop you from sinning". Genesis 4:7 paraphrased.

You see, it wasn't just his offering that was not accepted but also his person. He was a person of low-character quality. The quality of his character was poor. What made his offering to be rejected was also what made made him to destroy his brother - his character.

I want to think that Cain was never thoughtful. He was an impulsive person. He gave by impulse. He never considered the offering or who he was giving it to. That's very important. He never considered anything before doing it, that was a big character flaw.

What kind of a man are you? They are some people who are uncouth in their speech. They have refused to be refined. When there's an issue, you hear them saying things like, "I say things the way they are" or "that's who I am, that's my kind of person". They are very rude. They don't mind people's feelings. Such people have low-character quality. If you hang around them for long, they will put you in trouble.

Finally, if you are that man or woman who has a pattern of un-arranged information, it's time to start recalibrating your mind. It's time you start re-shaping your understanding. It's time you start making yourself fit for purpose. You see, Cain was not a fit for purpose person, that's why he became a subject of sin and error. If you must make your earth life worthwhile, then, you have a decision to make. To be the kind of person who will be accepted, not just by men but by GOD also.

Do not paint for people a hopeless picture of themselves. Nothing is more suicidal.

The bad people didn't stop being bad, why should you a good person stop being good all because you want to avenge a bad person? You won't achieve that, you will only lose yourself. And you know that nothing is as bad as that.

At our best, we are still a people who have not truly grasp, or comprehend the dimensions of love - the breath, height, length and depth of love. We are still a people who have not come to the terms and reality of practical love. We may define it in songs and poetry but living out the love we profess is still a per time work for many of us.

Your mind is air, we inhale it when we see your actions. .

Our truest achievement is not what we have, or what we have done. Our greatest achievement is knowing who we are. .
