After every lesson at WellRead Tutors, we do something special ✨
We go around and ask our learners random questions based on what was just taught — not to test them, but to help learning stick 📚
One of our favorite questions is:
“What part of the lesson was your favorite?” ❤️
When a child identifies a favorite subtopic, we ask why — and the explanations are always beautiful, thoughtful, and insightful 💡
Then we ask:
“Which part was your least favorite and why?” 🤔
This simple exercise helps children reflect, express themselves, and most importantly — remember. Because when a child can identify what they loved and what they struggled with, true understanding begins
At the end of the day, it’s not just about teaching…
It’s about making sure every child actually learns and remembers.
This is one of the vital strategies we use to keep learning meaningful and effective ✅
