Denotation and connotation lessons are interesting🙂 A denotation is the word’s explicit meaning while connotation is what the word implies. When else do we get to explain the difference between “Luke….I am your father…” and “Luke….it’s me, Dad…”? 🤷♀️

Children get points for doing something, anything right. Every time they hit the 25 points mark, the points are translated into steller student awards that they are so ecstatic about. Now, they are all working towards putting points in their savings. With the right motivation, we will get children to where they need to be!

We don't have forgetful learners. What we have are children who need their minds trained to remember, recall, recognize, recollect.
Telling children that they will reteach the content of the lesson that they are about to have is such a great way to make them deliberate about receiving much from the process.
