1a)
Before Moses was born, the children of Israel were living in slavery in Egypt.
The Pharaoh was afraid of the numbers and might of the growing Israelites during this time, so he had all of them put under extreme bo***ge and slavery so they could not rebel against him. It got so bad at one time, that the Pharaoh had put out an order to have all of the male children killed that were being born by the Israelites. It was during this time that Moses was born.
His mother was a β€œHebrew,” which is another name for Israelite. When Moses was first born, his mother hid him for 3 months so he would not be found and killed by the Pharaoh. After 3 months, his mother then placed him in an ark made out of bulrushes, and then placed him down by the reeds along the river banks hoping someone else would find him and raise him up safely. It just so happened that the daughter of the Pharaoh was the one to actually find him down by the river as she was getting ready to wash herself in the river. Once she found him, she found out who the mother was, and then asked the mother to nurse him during the nursing stage. Once the nursing stage was over, the mother then gave the child back to the Pharaoh’s daughter in order that she raise him up as one of her own so the Pharaoh would not find out who he was and have him killed. Moses was thus raised up in the Pharaoh’s house. When Moses became full grown, he became very distressed at seeing his own people suffer under the hands of the Egyptians.
During one of these times, he saw an Egyptian beating one of his fellow Hebrew men. Moses became so furious at seeing this injustice, that he killed the Egyptian who had been beating up
his fellow brother. After killing this Egyptian man, the Pharaoh then finds out about it and seeks to have Moses killed. At this point, Moses flees into the desert into a place called Midian. He then lives in the desert for 40 years until God calls him out to deliver His people from their slavery to the Egyptians.

5a)
The parable begins with a young man, the younger of two sons, who asks his father to give him his share of the estate. The implication is the son couldn't wait for his father's death for
his inheritance, he wanted it immediately. The father agrees and divides his estate between both sons.
Upon receiving his portion of the inheritance, the younger son travels to a distant country and wastes all his money in extravagant living. Immediately thereafter, a famine strikes the land; he becomes desperately poor and is forced to take work as a swineherd. (This would have been abhorrent to Jesus' Jewish audience, who considered swinev unclean animals.) When he reaches the point of envying the food of the pigs he is watching, he finally comes to his senses:
The son does not even have time to finish his rehearsed speech, since the father calls for his servants to dress him in a fine robe, a ring, and sandals, and slaughter the "fattened calf" for a
celebratory meal. The older son, who was at work in the fields, hears the sound of celebration, and is told about the return of his younger brother. He is not impressed, and becomes angry: The parable concludes with the father explaining that because the younger son had returned, in a sense, from the dead, celebration was necessary:"But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this, your brother, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found."

7a)Luke 7:1-10 Jesus Heals a Centurion's Servant After he had finished all his sayings in the hearing of the people, he entered Capernaum. Now a centurion had a servant who was sick and at the point of death, who was highly valued by him. When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his servant. And when they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, β€œHe is worthy to have you do this for him, for he loves our nation, and he is the one who built us our synagogue.” And Jesus went
with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, β€œLord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. Therefore I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed.
For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, β€˜Go,’ and he goes; and to another, β€˜Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, β€˜Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, β€œI tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.” And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found theservant well.

-theme of the power of the sun over
Everything:
The poet admits to the power of the sun and its influence in Changing things. He asks the readers to look round if they are not blind, and report to him the noticeable changes brought by the sun in the environment. He further asks them to examine history and see how the sun which in This case, controls time, has inflicted death on kings with its power. "ask for those kings whom thou saw'st yesterday, and thou shalt hear 'all here in One bed lay'".
Another theme is the theme of the poets dislike for distractions in His love affairs: the poet is unhappy with the way the sun uses its beams to disturb lovers by waking them up.
Unfortunately, he is unable to control his anger and raids insults on it. "Busy old fool, unruly sun, why doest thou thus,"
He wants the sun not to distract love affairs because love is not controlled by season, climate, hours, days or months.
The final thEme is the theme of indispensibility of the sun: despite the insults raided by the poet on the sun because of its distractions or intrusions in Love affairs, he accedes to the fact that the sun is indispensible. He says he has the power to close his eyes against the sun to show its powerlessness but cannot do so for long. "I could eclipse and cloud them with a wink; but, that i would not loose her sight for long".
From line 25 we see the poet conceding to the usefulness of the sun because it brings joy to the people and urges it to warm the world which is its duty and into his bedroom. "Shine here to us, and thou art everywer; this bed thy centre is, these walls thy spheres."
